PARISH COUNCIL - MONTHLY MEETING

NOTICE OF TRANSFER OF LICENSE.

The Clerk explained that previously questions of this kind came before the overseers but in matters respecting the transfer of licensee the Parish Council became the authority. He submitted to the Council, from Mr. M. Hillman a notice of his intention to apply to the local bench of magistrates September 30 to transfer the license of the Victoria Inn, Newtown, Paulton, to Mr. Charles Hall, of Paulton. No objection was forthcoming and the application was unanimously approved of by the Council.
