Sudden Death of Mr. U. Maggs
While sitting in a chair in the kitchen of his home, Spring Cottage, Radford, Paulton, on Wednesday afternoon last week, Mr. Uriah Maggs collapsed and died before medical aid could be summoned.
The deceased who was 74 years of age, was welt-known in the parish where his tragic end created a painful impression. He leaves a widow and family.
Mr. H. A. Horner (Coroner for North Somerset) opened the inquest on Saturday, at Cambrook House, Temple Cloud, and, after evidence of identification had been given by a son, M. Clifford Maggs, the coroner formallyy adjourned the inquiry to a date yet to be fixed.
