FUNERAL OF MR. E. F. WYATT
MOURNERS AND FLORAL TRIBUTES
The funeral of Mr. Edward Frederick Wyatt, licensee of the Lamb Hotel, Paulton, for the past 32 years, took place on Tuesday of last week, and among the mourners were several licensees in the district.
Mr. Wyatt, known to his many friends as Ted, was 76 and was a native of Paulton. Throughout his life he had been particularly interested in Paulton Rovers A.F.C. In his young days he was a prominent playing member for many years, and had a reputation as an outstanding goalkeeper. For many years after his playing career ended, he took an active interest in the management of the club and he was for many years its president.
The funeral service at Newtown Methodist Church, was conducted by the Rev. C. Guy and the hymns were "Jesu lover of my soul" and "Abide with me."

Mrs. Wyatt (widow), was unable to attend.
