On Monday, the 19th day of March, 1838, at five o'clock in the afternoon,
Lot 1. ALL that FREEHOLD and Old-established BREWERY, called NEWTOWN BREWERY, at PAULTON, Somerset, with the Brewhouse, Malthouse, Cellars, and other requisite Offices, for an extensive trade; and also the convenient DWELLING-HOUSE, with suitable Offices, Stable, Gighouse, Garden, and Premises thereto belonging, and enclosed with the whole Premises in a spacious Yard.
Lot 2. All that Freehold New-built DWELLING HOUSE, with Cottage and Garden thereto adjoining, lying above the Brewery, and lately occupied by Mr. Richard Watts and Benjamin Brimble.
Lot 3. All those Seven Freehold COTTAGES adjoining each other, near the said Brewery, in the occupation of Wm. Gregory and others.
Lot 4. All those two dilapidated Freehold COTTAGES at the top of Newtown.
Lot 5. All those two Freehold COTTAGES, with Waggon-house and Stable contiguous thereto.
Lot 6. All those two Freehold COTTAGES, with Gardens, lying opposite Lot 5
Lot 7. All those seven Freehold COTTAGES, adjoining each other, in the occupation of John Dowling and others.
Lot 8 The Reversion of two COTTAGES and Gardens, after the decease of two lives, aged 56 and 61, late in the occupation James House and Elias Dowling.
Lot 9 The Reversion of three COTTAGES, late in the occupation of Joseph Chivers and others, after the decease of two lives, aged respectively 46 and 61.
Lot 10. The Reversion of a COTTAGE, late in the occupation of John Ashman, after the decease of the same lives, as mentioned in Lot 9.
Lot 11. The Reversion of two COTTAGES, now or late in the occupation of James Watts and Thomas Watts, after the decease of one life, aged 46.
Lot 12. The Reversion of two COTTAGES, now or late in the occupation of Thomas Gregory and James Gregory, after the decease of two lives, aged respectively 56 and 60.
Lot 13. The Reversion two COTTAGES, late in the occupation of - Chivers, Wm. Bull, Richard Watts, and Sarah Clarke, after the decease of three lives, aged respectively 38, 46, and 47.
Lot 14. The Reversion of two COTTAGES and Gardens, late in the occupation of George Winter and Wm. Maggs, after the decease of two lives, aged respectively 43 and 45.
Lot 15. The Reversion of a COTTAGE and Garden, in the occupation of James Hew, jun. after the decease of life, aged 59
Lot 16. The Reversion of two COTTAGES, late in the occupation of Samuel Padfield and Levi Carter, after the decease of 3 lives, aged respectively 33, 43, and 68.
The above Premises are situated in a populous neighbourhood, and near numerous Collieries.
