TEMPLE CLOUD LICENSES REFERRED
At meeting of the Somerset Compensation Authority held at the Shire Hal, Taunton, it was decided to refuse the renewal the licences of the following houses, which had been referred to the authority for compensation by the Licensing Justices of the Temple Cloud Division:
- "The Live and Let Live,” Paulton (owners, the Bristol Brewery, George and Co., Ltd., Bristol, licensee, Thomas Hall); - “The Flying Dutchman,” Paulton (owners, the executors of the late AA. H. Baxter, licensee Alfred Langridge); - “The Dove,” Paulton (owners, the Bristol Brewery, George and Co., Ltd., Bristol: licensee, George Simmons); - “The Black Cow,” Stanton Drew (owners, the Bristol Brewery, George and Co., Ltd., Bristol; licensee, Samuel Workman).
