This stone, used in the Navy, etc., for scrubbing purposes is a by-product of the Farleigh Stone Quarry, near Bath. It is soft stone, unsuitable for other uses. I believe the local Stone Firms are contemplating the erection of lime kilns to make use of the large quantities of waste stone. Corsham.
