One of Paulton&amp;#039;s best known personalities passed away last week in Mrs. Sarah Jane Derrick, who died at her home at the &amp;quot;[[Rising Sun]]&amp;quot; Newtown, Paulton, at the great age of 96 years. The deceased had resided in the same house for a period of 70 years last November. She was the wife of the late Mr. John Derrick, who predeceased her in 1914, and upon the death of her husband the licence of the &amp;quot;[[Rising Sun]]&amp;quot; was transferred to the deceased, and between them Mr. and Mrs. Derrick had taken out no fewer than 71 annual licenses for the same beer house.&lt;/div&gt;</summary>
